2/10/26 – 2025 was my best honey year to date, but despite that—thanks to having awesome customers—I am getting close to the end of the 2025 honey. For now, I plan to be at the Dexter Winter Market only once a month. My next market will be on March 7, at which point I will make a decision about whether I will be there for a market in April. I will try to keep the honey page updated regarding what I still have available, and as long as I have honey left, I am alway happy to put honey out in the honey hut for pick up, so email or call if that works for you. In terms of outdoor markets, I anticipate starting to attend those in mid-June, after I have pulled my first 2026 honey. However, this winter has been a tough one for the bees, which could make 2026 a lean honey year. I will update here, once I have a better idea how the bees are doing, and what 2026 may look like. And no matter what comes in 2026, I really appreciate all of my faithful customers! Thank you for making 2025 my best year ever in the honey business!
Becky’s Birds and Bees is a small apiary business harvesting and selling local honey produced by bees raised in SE Michigan. If you are wondering about the ‘birds’ I also raise free range chickens and have added a handful of ducks, who are happily occupying my neighbors pond (with their permission, of course!) At this time I have enough established eggs customers to use all the eggs I am producing but occasionally a customer drops off, so if you would like to be on a waiting list, let me know.
